We had to dismantle the altarpiece piece to piece...
Xylophagous treatment (Xila = wood; Fagos = wood diet based insects)
Once the wood treatment was finished, the missing pieces were restored too
All pieces restoration, including the smallest
...These pieces were recomposed with wood and polyester fibers and a lot of sandpaper was used
Oil painting in green and white faux marble technique
Finally, I putted on the altarpiece a gilded cover
I restored the niche that contains Santa Ana statue with red plaster
All works has been carried out with natural pigments and flaxseed oils
